State Superintendent Sandy Garrett was surprised with being named the 2009 Vision Award recipient earlier in April by the Oklahoma State Teachers of the Year Association. The honor came during the 19th Annual Celebration of Teaching event at Oklahoma State University. The event was attended by about 300 classroom teachers, National Board certified teachers and prospective teachers. |
