Title I Schoolwide Planning: Writing the Schoolwide Plan

Purpose: To provide technical assistance to local educational agencies, Title I schoolwide planning sites, and Title I schoolwide program sites in creating a written comprehensive schoolwide plan that meets all federal requirements and ensures improved learning for all students.

Purpose: To provide information regarding the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Flexibility Request, also known as the NCLB Waiver Package, approved by the United States Department of Education for all schools and districts in Oklahoma.

Training for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)

When: Tuesday, March 6
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Purpose: The purpose of this instruction is to establish and convey United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) policies.  Providing guidance and direction to participants of the SFSP will ensure mandated training requirements have been met in this federally funded nutrition program.
Participants: Personnel responsible for administering the SFSP

Purpose: To inform school district personnel on conducting effective team meetings; ways to ensure parent participation; transition from Part C to Part B; secondary transition services, writing effective IEPs; OSDE forms; revocation of parent consent; and compliance with Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Participants: Special education directors, counselors, administrators, and other relevant personnel who will be involved in the education of students with disabilities
