On this month's edition we learned more about Farm to School. Chris Kirby, Farm To School coordinator with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry sat down with us along with Connie Whitmore, a local farmer, who is also a Kindergarten teacher for Coyle Public Schools. Ms. Whitmore also brought a few students from Coyle. |

Peggy Brinson, Principal of Western Village Academy brought Tobi Campbell, the school's Director who is also with Integris Health and Sabrina Bryant, a parent liaison for the school. Four current students at Western Village Academy were also in attendance. |

On this month's edition we highlight the Troops to Teachers certification program and an educator and students from Cache Public Schools who have all benefitted from this cooperative project between the Department of Defense and the State Department of Education. Mr. Nolan Watson, a retired U.S. Army Officer who now teaches 6th and 8th grade history for Cache Middle School, brought three current students and one former student. Also in attendance was Shelby Satterfield the Troops to Teachers Director for the State Department of Education. Go to Troops to Teachers Web site to find out more about the certification program. |

On this month's edition we highlight robotics and a class at Capitol Hill High School, Oklahoma City Public Schools that has received a state robotics grant for the second year. Mr. James Stephan brought, Craig Moreland, Capitol Hill mentor from Dell and students from his new robotics class. Two of the students helped build a robot last year and competed in the FIRST robotics competition. |

On this month's edition we highlight Oklahoma's Milken Educator for 2008 Ronia Davidson of Sadler Arts Academy, Muskogee Public Schools. Ms. Davidson brought some of her 3rd grade students with her to share some of the exciting things they are doing in the classroom. Ms. Davidson has taught at Sadler since 1997.

On this month's edition we focus on back-to-school and families transitioning from summer to fall. We give helpful tips and ideas on making this school year the best yet! |
Results may be seen September through May on OETA channel 13, Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m.; as well as year-round on KETADT2 (OKLA channel) Fridays at 7:30 a.m.
Results is also available on Cox Communications channel 7 in Oklahoma City and channel 3 in Tulsa. Also on cable in: Lawton, Shawnee, McAlester, Tahlequah, Ponca City, Enid and Woodward.
